Thanksgiving Eve Service

Please join us November 23 for our Annual Thanksgiving Eve Service at 6:30 pm. We will have a regular Worship Service with Communion and music. This event will also be on livestream for those that cannot attend.

Isaiah 12:4-5

And you will say on that day:

“Give thanks to the Lord;

    call on his name;

make known his deeds among the nations;

    proclaim that his name is exalted.

Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;

    let this be known in all the earth.

Pet Blessing – October 9 at 12:00 pm

Please join us with your family pet(s) near the labyrinth on the Epiphany grounds as we celebrate St. Francis of Assisi. St. Francis was able to see God in ALL of God’s creation – in the earth and sea, in the moon and the sun, the two legged and the four-legged and all that lives on the earth. Please join us for this special service. Contact the church office with questions at 763-559-3144

Outreach Partner – NEAR Foodshelf

Here are the latest opportunities to strengthen your faith and connect with the community

through giving to the NEAR Food Shelf:

– Back to School supplies – We are collecting money and school supplies now through the end of August for this annual program. We accept ALL donations, but we especially need spiral notebooks, both wide and college ruled, glue sticks, thin marker sets and thin highlighters.  We have a good resource for backpacks for approx. $5.00 each, so monetary donations are also appreciated. Thank you for all you do to make the school supply drive a success for the families we serve!!

– Annual Holiday Toy Distribution – We are excited to announce that this year we will be returning to the Crystal Community Center on Saturday, December 17th, for this event. We are asking for donations including toys and games for ages 1-17, purchased or handmade knitted/crocheted caps/hats, mittens/gloves and scarves for all ages. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated.

– Donate! Your financial and food contributions to NEAR through your church continue to serve those in need in our community.

Households served: 459 (June) and 437 (July)

Food distributed: 62,804 lbs. (June) and 58,430 lbs. (July)

Spring Flower Fundraiser

May 8-14: Spring Flower Fundraiser

This year we will participate in a different kind of plant sale. You can go with our form and buy any plant, tree or decorative item, turn in form at checkout. It cannot used be for gift cards. They then will collect all the shoppers’ forms; total amounts then they send us a check. Due to limited availability of church members, this is a very easy way for us to still get quality plants and receive a benefit.

You can pick up forms at the church or go to Malmborg’s website to download and pass out to your friends. Please do not pass out to strangers in the Malmborg’s parking lot.

Bring this FORM to any Malmborg’s Garden Center Location between Sunday, May 8, 2022 – May 14, 2022 and present it to the cashier. 10% of your pre-tax purchase will be donated to Church of the Epiphany. Feel free to share this email with friends!
