Church of the Epiphany History
In the 1950’s, the Twin Cities metro area was growing fast in the post-war baby boom. More suburbs were popping up around Minneapolis, and there was a great need for the Episcopal Church to reach out to the residents in such places as Crystal, New Hope and Plymouth.
The congregation of St. Andrew’s in North Minneapolis approved sponsoring the start of a new Mission in the western suburbs, and The Church of The Epiphany was born.
Outreach
If you would like to serve in ways to make our community and world a better place, please join us. You have come to a place where many hands make light work. Come here and make a difference.
Giving Garden
Our Giving Garden donates fresh produce to NEAR, a local food shelf. We typically donate close to a thousand pounds of food per year to people who do not often get a chance to have fresh produce. If you like casual gardening and conversation with friends what could make you happier than working in our Giving Garden.
